Dotty Dreaming

I don't think I have ever mentioned my obsession with polka dots. I love all things polka dot and have done for many years. I love polka dot shoes, clothes, hair bands, house accessories, bags.....big dots, small dots, multicoloured dots....anything with spots!

On my recent trip to Lakeside I brought an amazing pair of polka dot shoes, they had their first outing today and I LOVE them!

They only cost me £6 in Primark! I wasn't expecting too much wear out of these shoes because they are so cheap and I know that generally Primark shoes don't last too long but, still, for £6 I had to buy them. They are surprisingly comfortable and, on the way home from work today, survived their first heavy rain shower. I was very impressed with how quickly they have dried out, how they have maintained their colour and how they don't seem to smell after being drenched by rain water....! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that these shoes last a little while but in the mean time I have compiled a small wishlist of my favourite spotty things at the moment.

1. Red polka dot Converse

I'm not normally a trainer or Converse wearing kind of girl but I absolutely LOVE these. Girly but practical.

They can be brought from Schuh online for £48 with free delivery.

2. Replica 'Pretty Woman' dress

This is the ultimate polka dot dress and reminds me a little bit of a typical 1940's style dress. This one is available from Apricot Online for £34. They also have a few other lovely polka dot dresses that are worth a look.

3. Emma Bridgewater Duvet set

Emma Bridgewater is the queen of polka dots. I have always adored her whole range and her pottery, china and cutlery are timeless. I particularly love this duvet set at the moment because it is uses her classic theme in a different way. It can purchased in different sizes by clicking here.

4. Lindy Bop Red polka dot dress

I know its another spotty dress but there are no words to describe how much I love this dress. Red (one of my favourite colours), Polka dots (my favourite pattern), classic 50's style (a flattering  and fashionable style)...also a bit vintage!

It can be purchased on Amazon for only £29.99!

5. Chic and Shabby photo frame

Cute, small and chic shabby - very fashionable at the moment. The perfect personalised gift. Only £4.99 here

6. Umbrella

I have a bit of a thing for nice brollys and my favourite one has just broken. I've always wanted a dome shaped one and this one is perfect! Especially for the terrible spring weather at the moment. It can also be purchased on Amazon for £6.99.

7. Ceramic travel mug

I love cups of tea and coffee especially on the go. So why not do it in style! This super cute mug can be purchased here for only £5.

This isn 't by any means the end of my wishlist. There are a thousand more polka dots that I would love to buy....however, I am beginning to list the whole of Amazon!!! :-)

If you love classic 40's and 50's style dresses then check out Lindy Bop. An amazing website that specialises in vintage fashion.

Just one piece of advice.....hide your credit card before clicking the link, you might be tempted to go crazy!
